Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show @ The BVP

02:00 PM | - Bancroft Village Playhouse

Book, Music and Lyrics by Richard O'Brien. Directed by: James King & Rebecca Ballarin. “Let’s do the Time Warp again!” In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is great fun for adults and a perfect way to celebrate the Halloween season! Content Warnings: Sexual themes and innuendos, elements of horror, offensive/explicit language.

Recommended for 14+.

Buzz Collins: Connections @The BVP

07:00 PM | - Bancroft Village Playhouse

Buzz Collins has been leaving audiences mesmerized for over 30 years now – from the resorts of the Caribbean to multiple headlining runs at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. Much of Buzz’s schedule is filled with corporate engagements. However, in light of recent events throughout the world, he wanted to create an entertainment experience for all audiences that would showcase how connected we truly are. How our similarities far outweigh our differences is the theme that’s inspired his new stage show, “Connections." Truly a display of mystifying mental phenomena, Buzz’s performances are filled with laughter and unforgettable moments where audience members become a part of what can only be described as a mind bending experience! Despite a sometimes intense performance schedule that takes Buzz to locales throughout Canada and the US, he can also be heard weekday mornings as host of the Rock 107 Morning Buzz in Belleville, Ontario.
