Mr. Farrow is best known in the festivals and events Industry, as the Recreation Director for the Town of New Liskeard. He is recognized for his unique ability to network with people regionally, provincially and internationally, and is known as the contact to the world of Festivals.
Mr. Farrow worked with the local BIA to develop the annual Sidewalk Sale and Canada Day Celebration into a three day, fun-filled, family event featuring top quality entertainment for all. Within a twelve year span, the community event schedule grew to include a Professional Rodeo Tour, Dog Sled Races, Professional Powerboat Races, Major Concerts, Pumpkinfest, Festival of Lights, Community Christmas Party, First Nite Celebration and more!
Credited for over thirty years in the field of recreation – it was noted that the amount of volunteer time he put into the community over and beyond the work required in the capacity of Recreation Director was nothing less than phenomenal.
