Every Thursday night from June - September, the Summer Chill Series takes place in Peace Park. Consisting of three main elements; the open-air Bandshell Concert, the Farmers Market and the Supper Market, the Summer Chill Series offers residents, visitors, friends and family a place to support local businesses, farmers and musicians in Downtown Fonthill each week.
The Summer Chill Series began as an opportunity to support the local businesses and culinary establishments in Downtown Fonthill during the Bandshell Concert Series. Each Thursday, local restaurants made their way down to Peace Park to serve delicious food to the residents of Pelham and surrounding areas. Service Clubs and local organizations were invited to serve beverages from Pelham and Niagara based wineries, breweries and cideries under the sail in Peace Park. Residents and attendees were invited to enjoy food, beverages and entertainment with their families and friends. What started as a small Supper Market in 2014, has turned into the 16-week Summer Chill Series, recognized as a Top 100 Award winning event and featuring local culinary establishments, farmers, artisans, beverages and entertainers!
