Blyth Festival Season

The Blyth Festival was founded 50 years ago and built on a community’s belief in the possibilities of a shared dream and the importance of amplifying and honouring the stories of the region. A professional theatre company, the Festival has a long history of developing new Canadian plays.

Each summer, 100 theatre artists gather together in rural Blyth, ON to create and perform stories that explore our lives, past and present, spark conversations and reveal new perspectives and histories. 100 performances take place in 2 venues - Blyth Memorial Hall (373 seats), and the outdoor Harvest Stage (439 seats).
