Mississauga Italfest annually presents a free celebration of Italian Heritage and Culture aimed at honouring distinctive features of The Italian Life by producing one of the largest festivals in Canada. Dedicated to Italian history, music, art, food, and landscape and mirrored after Italy’s national holiday “Ferragosto,” Italfest introduces time-honoured traditions of Italian culture to a diverse mosaic of local and regional visitors and tourists of all ages from across Ontario to US Border Cities. Musical performances from emerging talent to headliners from Italy, dancers, comedians, interactive family attractions and exhibits in the Heritage pavilion provide an authentic Taste of Italy.
