Markham’s Canada Day Celebrations welcome the City’s community and visitors to celebrate Markham and Canada’s diversity and inclusivity on July 1.
There are two parts to the special day, beginning with a Citizenship Ceremony at the Markham Civic Centre where new Canadian citizens are welcomed and celebrated.
The second part of the day includes a full range of activities spanning from 3 to 11 PM at Markham Centre. Markham’s Canada Day celebrations welcome more than 20,000 visitors to an afternoon and evening of entertainment, activities, refreshments.
This year’s main stage will be filled with incredible talent and headlined by Canadian musicians. Lots of kids activities, entertainers, dancing and lots of fun! Capping off our celebrations the Grand Finale Fireworks show lights up the night’s sky.
