Founded in 1979 by Anton Kuerti, and under the Artistic Direction of James Campbell, since 1985, Festival of the Sound is Canada’s oldest and longest running chamber music festival. Fans of chamber music gather in Parry Sound, Ontario near the shores of Georgian Bay each summer for three weeks of artistic excellence performed by artists from across Canada and around the world.
