Sarah Wood is the Senior Manager of Events, Programming and Sponsorship Development at The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC).  Wood who has been a part of NPC for nearly 20 years has had numerous roles from promoting Niagara Falls to orchestrating the over 1500 events that take place annually at NPC.  From producing major international events and destination programming to charitable, corporate and political events, Wood has a formidable knowledge of event logistics and event risk management.

As Past President of Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO), Wood played an instrumental role in developing a new governance structure that has ensured FEO’s board continuity into the future.  She continues to play an active leadership role in the industry association volunteering with the annual conference and supporting FEO’s mandates.  Wood is a member of several Niagara festival boards, teaches at Niagara College in the post graduate Event Management Program and actively volunteers with charities and at her church. 

Wood has an Honours BA from McMaster University in Political Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade from Niagara College and is a member of the International Festival & Event Association.  Sarah and her husband Jason live in Niagara Falls.
