Port Hope Candlelight Festival ( November 2026)

The Candlelight Festival united Port Hope residents and visitors in a spectacular celebration of the holiday season and the completion of three years of main street reconstruction. The Festival was fully pedestrianized for the first time, featuring the Candlelight Walk, animated projections, fire performances, an artisan market, DJs, firepits, late-night shopping, a new outdoor licensed area, and an ethereal winter fairy roaming the streets. Free and accessible to all, the Candlelight Festival drew thousands, revitalized local businesses, showcased volunteer and sponsor engagement, and combined heritage charm with innovative experiences to create a signature celebration of community, tradition, and winter magic.
