The KW Multicultural Festival is a uniquely powerful celebration of cultural diversity in Southwestern Ontario. Since 1967, this free, community-driven festival has transformed Victoria Park - also known as Willow River Park - into a vibrant showcase of global food, music, dance, and art, bringing together more than 65,000 people each year. With over 100 vendors, dozens of performers, and cultural groups representing every corner of the world, it is one of Canada’s largest and longest-running multicultural events. The festival offers a rare opportunity to experience so many cultures in one place, reinforcing Waterloo Region’s long-standing commitment to welcoming newcomers and building a community where everyone can belong.
