Fresh Up is Hamilton's celebration of R&B, Hip-hop, and Soul, bringing together music, art, and community in a way that feels unique in Ontario. Since launching in 2022 by Sonic Unyon, the festival has grown into a full cultural experience, featuring dance, visual art, and the Melanin Market, where local makers share their work. The lineup blends big names and rising stars, including THEHONESTGUY, Leila Dey, Mauvey, Divine Lightbody, and Nonso Amadi, giving underrepresented voices a stage to be seen and heard. Fresh Up is about more than music, its about connection, creativity, and celebrating diversity in every form.
