Brooklin Harvest Festival Whitby (September 2026)

The Town of Whitby’s annual Brooklin Harvest Festival celebrated its 26th anniversary in 2025 and annually takes place on the second Saturday after Labour Day. This is an annual event that originally was organized by the local community Group 74. A group of dedicated ladies out to improve the community. When the Group could no longer organize such a large event, the Town of Whitby continued coordinating.
Harvest Festival contributes to the local economy and historic Downtown Brooklin by attracting more than 15,000 visitors. Each year event attendance continues to grow with a record breaking numbers annually.
Over the past two years, the Town has added more programming and vendors and worked with many new businesses to participate within the events footprint. 2025 saw 12 new businesses participating.
The event is unique and connects a lot of different organizations within the community such as (informational groups, small and local businesses, musicians and charitable organizations) offering an engaging opportunity to reach a large audience. This event enhances Brooklin’s historic downtown.
