Established in 1975, the Thamesville Threshing Festival is a two-day, grassroots summer kick-off celebrating Southwestern Ontario's deep and rich agricultural heritage. Powered entirely by dedicated hyper-local volunteers—including two serving continually since inception—the festival generates significant regional economic lift, and is renowned for drawing thousands of visitors from across North America. The historic landmark 50th Anniversary in 2025 demonstrated our commitment to both bold innovation and growth, successfully executing unforgettable, high-caliber spectacles for all ages (including Chatham-Kent's first-ever drone show). This historic year proves the festival's enduring vitality: a perfect blend of beloved tradition, spectacular entertainment, and unshakeable community pride.
